Credits

How credits work and how they are shared.

What Are Credits?

Credits are the currency used to generate content in Decision Craft. Game phase costs depend on the selected text model and are shown beside model selection in your profile. Writing an action or letting the AI choose within the next round adds no separate charge. Image generation is included in normal gameplay.

Welcome Credits

New accounts receive a one-time gift of 100 credits when they sign up.

Daily Credits

Every account receives 100 daily credits per day. The daily balance refreshes automatically the next time you connect after 24 hours, and it refills up to the cap instead of stacking above it.

Monthly Subscription

The subscription costs $9 USD per month, before applicable taxes, and includes 3,000 credits.

On each successful monthly renewal, unused subscription credits are replaced by a fresh 3,000-credit allowance. They do not stack.

If you cancel, subscriber benefits remain until the end of your paid period. At that point, any unused subscription credits become permanent credits you can spend later. For example, 2,000 remaining credits are kept after cancellation. Purchased packs and signup gifts also remain until spent.

If renewal payment fails, no new allowance is granted and the expired subscription allowance is unavailable. Update your payment method to renew.

Credit Packs

One-time credit purchases (subscribers get a discount). Prices are in USD before applicable taxes. Purchased credits do not expire and can be used without a subscription:

Pack Credits Non-subscriber Subscriber
Small Pack 650 credits $4.00 $3.00
Large Pack 1,200 credits $6.00 $5.00

No Charge on Failure

If AI generation fails, credits are not deducted. The host can retry the phase at no cost (one retry per phase is allowed before the lobby needs to be reloaded).

How Costs Are Shared

  • Setup and round costs are split as evenly as possible across connected players with credits.
  • Dialogue and suggestions charge the requesting player first. If they cannot pay, the connected player with the largest available balance pays; the request fails if nobody can cover it.
  • Players with 0 credits pay nothing.
  • Friends without credits can still play as long as the room can cover the phase cost.
  • When credits are spent, daily credits are used first, then subscription credits, then purchased packs and signup gifts.

Tip: Play with friends, pay less. The more players in the room, the more the cost is divided - so a full lobby of 6 players each pays only one-sixth of what a solo player would spend on the same session.

Not Enough Credits

If the room cannot pay for a phase, the game pauses and you'll see a Not enough credits screen.
